Weststar Media strikes a Corde with new brand identify and website
Weststar Media is proud to unveil a new brand identity and website for Corde, a New York-based furniture business launched by former Head of Design at Phillips New York, Cordelia Lembo. Thoughtful, curated and quietly confident, the brand and website reflect Cordelia’s unique point of view and decades of experience in 20th-century design.
From the outset, Corde’s identity needed to do more than look elegant - it had to evoke a sense of grounded quality and trust. We developed a bespoke wordmark that blends traditional letterforms with subtle irregularities, balancing timelessness with tactile warmth. Subtle variations in character width and rhythm give the logo its signature feel: crafted, but restrained and never overly decorative.
The colour palette is equally subtle and refined. Inspired by stone, sand and sunlit interiors, it spans warm off-whites, soft greys, and natural, desaturated tones. This chromatic restraint allows Corde’s inventory of refined furniture, objects and lighting to shine.
Using a user-friendly CMS platform, Corde.co was created to ensure a clean, mobile-responsive interface that elevates Corde’s imagery while remaining easy to manage post-launch. Key features include:

A seamless link to Corde’s InCollect storefront for inventory browsing
Optimised mobile layouts and subtle interactions for a refined user experience
We also supported the brand with onboarding to an email platform, enabling the commencement of personalised outreach to clients and prospects. Future phases may include ecommerce integration and expanded content capabilities.
Just like Corde’s new studio in Brooklyn, New York - flooded with natural light and designed for clarity - the website is both functional and atmospheric. It’s a foundational space that is designed to evolve with the business as it grows and develops.
Weststar Media is a new boutique agency which uses a collective of hand-picked talent sourced during my long career working for notable agencies and premium brands within the digital marketing industry. The design on the Corde project was led by accomplished creative director Adam Gamble, who I worked with on the Malts.com project for Diageo which showcases their incredible range of single malt whiskies.
